Q How much will the reusable labels cost next year?
A It will depend on the volume we achieve this year, but they should be right around $35. Note that our Jumbo labels for our regular kits are $30 for one-time use.
Q Why does it cost more for a custom board?
A Trust us. This is the deal of the century. If you call Kinko's (FedEx Office), you will find that large-format color posters cost $9.00/square foot ($135 for a typical draft board). We are charging just $10 + shipping for the entire color poster and labels. It ends up being an extra buck/man for the custom feature. We think it is well worth it. And the reusable stock is significantly pricier than paper, which is what the 1-time use custom boards are made from.
Q Do I get to pick the colors?
Yes, you choose from 32 premade color schemes or house colors. Color choices are $10 extra with custom and are included with Reusable. We do not allow you to pick different colors from the ones we offer on the site. Our house colors are attractive as well and cost a few bucks less.
Q How do I know I am going to like the way it looks? Do I get a proof?
Since this is just a matter of making a board to fit your necessary dimensions and adding a header to it, there really is nothing to proof. If you are not comfortable with this, you might consider one of our off-the-shelf draft kits. Our operation simply is not set up for proofs.
Q What about returns?
Since this is a custom kit, there are no returns. If something gets damaged in transit, we will provide replacement(s) if necessary.
Q Do you still have a second shipping charge for custom draft boards?
A No, we do not. We did this in 2009 because we shipped the boards from a different place than the labels. Now we ship it all from one place.
Q How do the custom boards ship?
A FedEx Ground/Home Delivery.
Q Do you offer Express shipping on custom boards?
A Yes, but it is more expensive with the custom boards because they require a tube instead of an envelope to ship.
Q How much longer does it take for a custom shipment?
A Generally, 2-5 days, depending on what time of the season we are in. In June, it is probably closer to 2 days, and in August, it will be around 5.
Q Can I include a logo for my draft board?
A Yes, but you must submit the logo right away after ordering. We provide a link for you after confirming your order. The logo should be at least 2in x 2in. We do not modify the logo other than to shrink or enlarge it to fit in the upper corner of the draft board. If the logo is not in an acceptable format, is too small, unavailable when we produce your draft kit or if there is another problem with it, we will produce the draft board without the logo.
