The Commissioner's Dream Q & A

Q How do I order the custom draft boards?
A You can visit the custom draft boards webpage. There you will select either the Commissioner's Dream or the Jumbo draft kit.

Q I see the draft board that comes with the Commissioner's Dream is 12 - 14 teams. Do you have anything bigger?
A Yes, we do offer a draft board that is 16 teams and 23 rounds for a few bucks extra. You might also consider our custom draft boards, which allow you to get whatever board size you need..

Q Where do I order the upgrades like a stand or IDP's?
When you add the kit to your cart, you will see optional upgrades to select before ordering.

Q Is this draft board made of wood or paper or cardboard or what?
It is a poster (heavy stock paper). You can purchase a draft board stand separately.

Q How big are the labels?
The Commissioner's Dream come with labels that are 4" x 1.33". This is 33% bigger than others on the market.

Q I see the Commissioner's Dream is priced a little higher than other kits out there. Why should I pay more for a draft kit?
A We started in 2004 with a bare-bones product and have enhanced it significantly every year, while keeping essentially the same prices (The Commissioner's Dream has been $33 since 2004). We could simply cheapen the product to lower the price, but we believe that an extra 50 cents per man in your league is not going to make or break your decision. We identified a few examples below.

Our labels come on a double-wide sheet. Noone else offers this enhancement because they are expensive to produce. We came up with a way to do it at a slightly higher cost which we believe will save you hassles and time on draft day. Our draft board is multi-colored and comes on heavier paper, which we could have printed on cheaper paper in black and white. Whether it is a more attractive looking board or the updated players or the new draft order cards that we include with the Commissioner's Dream, we believe these enhancements on draft day are well-worth the extra few cents per man.

Q I saw the updated players as an optional upgrade? How big of a deal is this feature?
If every manager in your league watches pre-season news and knows who has been cut or sent to jail, then it probably isn't necessary. But 10% of the skilled position players will be involved in a season-changing transaction in August. Most of you have more than just bragging right at stake here, and it would be a shame to miss the playoffs because your 6th round pick in August was a running back who has been on IR for a month.

The updates won't be perfect, but we'll catch the vast majority of them. And that is way more than anyone else provides.

Q What is that number in the upper right corner on the labels?
A The player's bye-week. It is simpler than having to cross-refernce every player and bye-week throughout the draft.

Q Why don't you offer the High-Contrast labels with the smaller kits?
A We don't want to have too many products as this becomes difficult for us to produce efficiently.

Q I'm from Canada. How long will it take for customs clearance?
A We have a separate product line dedicated to our friends to the north. No duties, no extra fees for customs clearance. No delays since we ship from Toronto.

Q How does the update sheet work?
A If you get a draft kit that is not updated, we provide you with the transactions on a separate web page. You can simply make any or all of the modifications yourself. This is available with all of our draft kits. We also offer kits (Commissioner's Dream ONLY) that are updated already for just a few bucks more.
