Need-it-Now Instructions
Order Need-It-Now Fantasy Baseball Draft Board/Kit
The process is very simple. Just order the "Need-it-Now" Fantasy Baseball Draft Board or Fantasy Football Draft Board. Upon order confirmation, look for a little red download button toward the right side of the screen. Save the file to your hard drive or other drive and follow the instructions below. You'll get one Adobe pdf. file that contains separate pdf. files for the board(s) and Microsoft Word documents for labels and any instructions. It is essential that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 or later for this to work. Follow the Adobe link to upgrade to the latest version. If you only see one file when you open it, this means that you do not have the latest version and need to upgrade. Remember, the upgrade is free.
- Find a place like Kinko's or CopyMax/OfficeMax that has a 3ft wide black/white printer.
- Buy a pack of white labels at your local office supply store. Labels are generally sold in 25 or 100ct. packs. Expect to spend around $10 on the labels. Make sure the labels are 30 to a page. Avery is the most common brand, and you'll want style number 5260 or equivalent. Office Depot, Staples and OfficeMax have house brands too, but they may not come in packs of 25.
- Take your labels and file to Kinko's, etc. The files should be formatted already, so they should not have to manipulate the files at all.
- If the file has a choice of boards, tell them which file you want them to print (approx. $5-$10) on the large printer. Give them the labels, and tell them which file to print (if multiple files are included). This should cost about 8 cent/page with your paper, or you can print them yourself to save a few dollars. If you print them yourself, make sure to print a few test pages on regular paper to make sure they line up alright. You don't want to run out of labels. If you don't buy a box of labels, Kinko's normally carries this size, but they charge quite a bit for the labels.
Money saving tip: If you can live without the DH's (last 1/2 page or so), you can just buy a 25-pack of Avery labels. Assuming you don't make any mistakes, this will keep you from having to buy a second pack for just one sheet of labels.
That's all there is to it. Unless Kinko's is backed up very badly, they should be able to get the job done while you wait. It is our experience that most Kinko's have a large printer, but not all of them do. You may have to try other locations.
Look for the Red "Download" button on the order confirmation page after you place your order.
