"Need-it-Now" Fantasy Baseball Draft Boards
Now available for Baseball .
This is a novel way for the "last-minute" commish to
save
the day! Simply order the "need it now" kit and download
the data file (Word and pdf.), which contains the labels and the board.
You'll take the file to Kinko's or a similar place, and they
will print it for you. The only drawback is that you'll only
be able to get white labels when you download your draft
kit. The good news is that you get a completed kit in as
little as an hour (if your Kinko's shop hustles) and the
price will be about the same or less than if you had the kit
Express Shipped.

Key Points about our Need it Now Draft Kits:
-
No shipping charges
-
Labels not available in color. We can only use what the
printing shop keeps on hand, and none of them carry
color.
-
White laser labels are 1" x 2 5/8".
Board
is 3ft tall and 4ft wide. Board accommodates 14 teams and 20 rounds or 12 teams and 30 rounds of picks. We include both.
-
Total cost will be about the same as buying a kit with
Express Shipping.
-
Files are in Adobe. You'll need to download the latest
version (currently 7.0 or 8.0) for free if you don't already have it. Kinko's and most
other printers will have it.
-
Wherever you go, make sure they have
a 36" wide
black & white printer as this is necessary to print
the
board. Sometimes this machine is referred to as a
zoomer or engineering machine. Almost every Kinko's
facility has this machine. Many
OfficeMax/CopyMax stores have it too. You might want to call
ahead of time to save you a wasted trip. Make sure they have black/white as color will cost a fortune.
-
The time it takes to get it finished is entirely up to
Kinko's. It is a very simple job for them, so it should
not take long at all. If you have an accommodating
Kinko's they should be able to finish it while you wait.
-
The laser label size will be 1" x 2 5/8" and
will be 30 to
a sheet. This is the most standard size in the
industry. If the facility does not carry this size, you
could purchase a package at Office Depot, Office Max
or similar place and take to them to print. Kinko's only
charges about 8 cents per page if you supply the
paper. Whatever you do, do not use ink jet
labels.
-
Sorry, no refunds on this one since you already have
the file. You might want to call a Kinko's near you to
make sure they have the large format printer and carry 30
labels/sheet in stock. Or you can buy and print the labels yourself.
-
Don't forget to visit our Update page right before you
go to your draft to see which players have changed
teams.
- A money-saving tip: The Word file is 26 pages, and you can buy a 25-pack of labels (assuming no mistakes). If you can live without the last 1/2 page of DH's, you can get by with a 25-pack of labels and save approx $10.
